Before joining the leadership team at Shamrock, Rod spent the early years of his career on the baseball diamond logging in time at both the AAA and MLB levels. Most notably, Rod picked up three hits off of Hall of Famer Randy Johnson and played in the game where Cal Ripken set the consecutive games played record.
The discipline, resourcefulness and spirit of competition Rod gathered during his MLB career is what helped him quickly move through the ranks at Shamrock starting as a Loan Officer in 1997 then moving to Vice President overseeing the Loan Origination staff then to Senior Vice President and finally President in 2006.
Rod’s willingness to help others improve is his most valuable quality and is what makes Shamrock impossible to compete with. He is responsible for integrating the company’s Proven Process and making sure that client experience is the top priority to our staff. Just one thing - don’t ever say “all set” to him.
When Rod isn’t facilitating an L10 you can find him spending time with his family and dogs on Cape Cod.
